I was diagnosed bipolar then a year later schizoaffective disorder
After first psychosis nothing even though i went complaining to different docs about how weird i still felt and they couldnt recognize it was negative symptoms. Then for a long time schizoaffective cuz i was delusional and didnât care about label and then cuz i wasnât adamant and it was hard to convince doc

During my prodromal phase i went to see a psychiatrist and he asked are u happy? And i said no. He said, then ur depressed. He prescribed me an antidepressant and an antipsychotic. I took the antipsychotic for 4 years and then stopped since i wasnt psychotic and got psychosis. At the hospital i was diagnosed with schizophrenia

My first dx was âmajor depression with psychotic featuresâ. Then I got dxâed also with schizoid personality disorder and avoidant personality disorder. Then it was changed to schizophrenic, and then to schizoaffective, which I live under now.
