Did you ever think you were a bird or a tree?

I took a flying leap thinking I could fly once. And standing still, I imagined growing roots out of my feet. What bored children think of!!

Well my dad used to say, if I eat the cherry pip,

Then I will grow a tree from my stomach.

Lol

I can’t remember if I believed it as a kid

Way before I was diagnosed, I went on a “new age” type weekend. One of the meditations we did was to imagine we were a tree. Bizarre but true.

Tree! Totally.

I could feel the spring grass under my bare feet, some wind, and a radiant sun, imagined I was part of this divine energy flow coming from a living planet.

I often wondered if that was what a tree felt like. Lol silly things we did as a kids.

I also used to play elephants as a kid. I think I just liked making the loud trunk noises.

Yup, northern California hippy retreats too.

We all cried for the old growth. Chanted in the language of trees.

I remember when I thought I was going to die during an episode I was hoping to become one with the trees as I did not want to feel human suffering as a human reincarnation. :upside_down_face:

I hope you did not leap from a too high height

It was the landing that hurt. I landed on my head.

Old tale of savage pigmen tribe.

Just before death, they would cut themself open and put a holy seed inside them. As they died the tree would take root and sprout, creating giant hollowed trees. The pigmen would then enter the giant trees and use rocks and sticks to percuss the inside.

The soul of the dead pigmen would reside in the tree, giving ancient advice to the new tribes. Speak to them. Forrest’s of pigmen tree’s. All at beckoning for advice.

Powerful creatures.
