Delusion vs. Reality

I have a belief which is certainly unusual, but I cannot for certain say that it’s true. The two friends I’ve told think it’s all in my head, and sometimes I almost believe them.

I’m certainly not risking denying it being true this time (I am NOT facing the consequences of THAT) but just out of curiosity, can any of you guys tell that your delusions are delusions, and how?

I share a comment made by SzAdmin years ago:

Delusions mean we are in the war of fantasy.

Sorry for not having constructive suggestion.

I know warning signs that indicate delusions. When I am not well I either don’t think to use those signs or don’t care.

So imagine reality being everything that is actual, (I guess you could picture mindfulness)

So the experience of now, without a story in your head.

The story of the what, where, when, why, and how in your head could just consider it delusional.

like thinking deep about things people don’t really think about.

I guess you could call it a deep ponder, or picture it that way if you need to.

So basically the story of the world in your head and ties of causes is Imagination

Wait, so… Most of my life? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Maybe, my life as well. they say it’s good to dream :yum:

I, in general, just keep it to myself and then watch the other so called sane people as they can not tell the difference between real news and fake news.

Logically, my delusion sounds utterly fantastical and ridiculous. In a million years it could not be true. None the less, there is a part of me that believes it wholeheartedly. I talk about it only with my kids, best friend, tdoc/pdoc and here. It’s pretty insane but I believe it; hence-delusion.
