I have been suffering anxiety for too long now sometimes it gets too much then the anxiety makes me depressed
I was like that today but ok now as evening draws in and had a bath
I get abilify induced anxiety. I’m taking large amounts of l-theanine which helps. I’ve come off benzos which only work temporarily anyway. Others here are on other meds for anxiety. Maybe you could try those by asking your doctor.
Anxiety is a big deal for me!

In a lot of cases yes, but in my case, my klonopin gets rid of my delusions and i’ve been on the same dose .5 twice a day for over 2 1/2 years now and haven’t had to raise it and it still works like a charm.

I take Lexapro for my anxiety and it helps a great deal
your doctor won’t give you klonopin? do you drink?
I didn’t know Abilify increases anxiety… my Anxiety has gotten horrible and neither my psychiatrist nor I have found the cause. I now take 40mg Prozac and .5 Klonopin in addition to my 15mg Ability and still I have issues with it.

Anxiety and depression is a potent and bad mix.
I would ask about buspar. It’s good for anxiety and not abusable like a typical anti anxiety med is.
When I first saw my current psychiatrist I was suffering from a constant feeling of dread my anxiety was through the roof.
He put me straight on to 10mg lexapro and it worked almost immediately to get rid of that anxiety.
Lexapro has been a little wonder drug for me. I’m very lucky.

I hate being anxious…I take a valum calms me down…if I don’t have one I just suffer through it…try drinking green tea…I USTA do that for my nerves…
Exactly the same here. I had a constant stream of doom and fear playing in my head, and Lexapro had that shut off in the first three days.
In two weeks, I found a dentist and a gynecologist, two things I had been too anxious to do for at least five years. It’s been amazing for me.

shellys, i am too anguished also… and it causes depression i know…talk to your doctor, my mistake is that i am tired of seeing pdocs and just trying meds without help. otherwise, in my case, my mood stabilizer calms a little bit my fears, i am on Depakote
