I’m the other way around. Days are getting shorter. Weathers getting cooler as we head towards winter.

what you going to do with your time? long or short. maybe make icecream at home? back in the day we would all gather at the grand folks for food.

I try to keep my sleeping schedule, although when it is lighter, it is more difficult to sleep. Of course, I may ride my bicycle at nights. Now it is 10 pm and it is dark. In two months it gets semi-dark after 11:30 pm and then the sun rises early.

Just wondering what bears do when it is light in summers, stay awake after sleeping the whole winter.

where do you live? reminds me of a place I once woke up in. And druknkenly escaped, lol

I live in Eastern Finland in an area where we have many apartment buildings. People who are not rich live in my neighborhood.

Oh ■■■■! A finn! Nice to see you. So you live in a ghetto? Me too. Born in a ghetto. And I’m 100% danish, with sz, how lucky can you be, lol.

And, the picture remind me of Ôrestad in Denmark, if you’ev heard of it. Artificial island built so to make the Ôresundbro to Sweden. Danm. Thats a futuristic looking ghetto from the furture, your pic and Ôrestad. Mine was more USSR traditional, grey blocks as far the eye could see.

I can’t get over the variations in daylight where you live. I remember at the beginning of winter you showed us a picture of the same place and it was completely dark at 5:00 p.m. I would like to experience that. I would like to live for a year where you live in Finland.

Yeah me too. Finland is a really cool country in a lot of ways. Very “liberal”(don’t really understand the current american/european explanation of it) and awesome nature. Should really be the metropolis of the “old world” (europe) in my mind.

If you come to Finland, you should manage with English, because most people speak it. Traditionally we have been between the East (Russia) and the West (Europe) and many interesting cities are near where you can visit such as Tallinn (Estonia), Saint Petersburg (Russia). Finland is the member of the EU and you can use Euros. I am living on the border of 1323.

We also refuse to do day light savings for that reason also. So even in summer it’s like 7.30pm and the day lights all gone.
