This is incredibly irresponsible @jukebox.
As Joe Biden would say, “C’mon man.” This is reckless. Even if there wasn’t a pandemic, general courtesy says don’t expose others to an illness.
I’m sorry, but I’m just going to tell you what I feel about your situation.
I know that you really want to go to this concert, but 90% of bronchitis cases are due to viral infections. Like COVID-19, you could potentially spread this virus to other people, and people with respiratory illness, chronic illnesses, disabilities, and old people will face serious consequences by contracting your infection.
You are putting people at risk should you go to this concert.
I am one of those vulnerable people. I have a chronic illness that is literally breaking my body down in every single minute of my life. If I get a cold, I have to suffer twice as more than other people. I can get pneumonia, lung infections, and I could even have respiratory failure. A cold is enough to cause me these symptoms. If a vulnerable person is at your concert, you may cause this person a serious and painful ordeal. Also, to mention: I could actually die from pneumonia.
I would strongly urge you to reconsider for yourself and for your friends. You are putting other people at risk by going to this concert with bronchitis. Please, stay home and recover first before making other plans with your friends.
Thanks.
