It’s still so hard to believe he is gone… this his computer and sometimes i even finds bits of paper with his writing on.

Yeah, @anon80629714, my Dad has been dead for a little more than 9 years now. It’s funny how every year that his birthday (April 3rd) and Father’s Day don’t get me down, but, around the 2nd or 3rd week of August (he died on the 18th), I get kind of depressed and sluggish. How long has your Dad been gone? It took me about 2 years to get through the main stages of grieving, but they say you never actually get over it.

my step dad, (my best father) I lost almost 3 years ago…still think of him all the time and cry sometimes…he’s in a better place. Sorry you lost your dad…

Thank you @anon96671092 and @jukebox I lost him just over 3 years ago , it was quite sudden as well he was gone 3 months after diagnosis! i mean all that time before that they thought it was depression… turned out he had a cancer in his brain… I don’t think i have ever greieved I just feel he is here…
