There might be some major cuts in Medicare and Medicaid in the upcoming budget plan.
This will affect a lot of disabled people.

There will be cuts to Social Security also.
I rely on SSDI payments to survive.

For the record, no government can ever cut themselves out of a deficit or recession. There are so many case studies of it. Looking at the Obama era versus the majority of Europe like Greece are good examples.
The problem when you cut, is a lot of government jobs and services go along with it. If you cut police and fire department funding, the property value starts going down. You cut drug and mental programs and it adds more stress to your neighbourhood.

Until the deficit gets to zero cuts are necessary. At least exports are increasing which helps ease some of the burden.

I dont really see how they could be cut. It’s often not much money in the first place. People on it are already living below the poverty level.

Take political talk with a grain of salt until it gets enacted into law or whatever. Talks of cutting stuff has always been going around.
