Covid question

Canadian federal government and provincial governments 2 years ago: “We need to dial things back and flatten the curve now to buy time to increase health care resources for the future. Please help us by observing all public health measures.”

Same federal and provincial governments 2 years later: “Yeah, we didn’t do any of that and now we can’t keep up with Omicron. Sorry. Stay home if you have sniffles!”

Useless tossers, the lot of 'em.

We are having trouble getting tested, ourselves. At first they were testing at my doctor’s office, but now refer you to the hospital. I have no transportation there.

Luckily the school has at home tests for every child in the district, so we will get 4 from there and my job will have 3 for me, my husband, and older child. But that’s just one test each, so no one e better get sick but once.

Hopefully you’re family stays healthy all the way through. We just got contacted by the health department about our daughter who tested positive at home. The school nurse contacted the department and now we need to fill out a form. My husband and I have it too so I’m not sure if we’ll have to fill out forms as well. I’m sure we’ll know soon enough

We have to go to an Urgent Care for my father.
He’s still coughing after almost a week and has yellowish green phlegm.
This could mean he has an infection.
My entitled ass hole of a brother won’t take us there and I am too weak to go with my father by myself.
Now we have to rely on someone else like my aunt to take us.
I am furious with my brother.

I hope you feel better soon and that you have mild symptoms.

That’s really good that you were able to get tested quickly and also get the results quickly. Two thumbs up for your doctor’s office being so responsive. :slightly_smiling_face:

I hope your dad is OK and can get seen at urgent care soon. Take care.

I called an urgent care need our house and the nurse there said that there is nothing they can do for him now.
She said that with Covid it’s common to have yellow or green phlegm and that we should continue quarantining 10 days after the day he tested positive, not after we first showed symptoms.
She said to treat it as if it were a cold and to come in to get retested on the 10th day.
I don’t think he needs an X-ray at this point.
His oxygen levels are normal and he doesn’t have a fever.
