Oh cool, I didn’t notice the PDF until now. Thanks! I’m going to try to read through that later today or tomorrow.
Maybe you can tell us how significant it is
Yeah come on treebeard give us some clarity
I doubt I’ll be able to add much clarity to this discussion, but if I find something, I will tell you!
In a nutshell, a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) has a null hypothesis (a belief that there is no difference between the group of people receiving the drug and the group of people receiving the placebo) of 0, but p (differences that happen by chance) is allowed up to 0.05%.
The take-home point is the prevention of allocation bias (the two groups are not random).
So is the improvement of alogia significant?
I didn’t view the PDF (I don’t download PDFs that I’m not certain as to security), so I don’t know the answer to that question.
There is a picture on this topic
I’m no expert, but it seems insignificant (placebo effect too high).
How effective is it for negative symptoms…
The effect on alogia with the 32 milligram dose did not reach statistical significance (p=0.182), but the effect with the 64 mg dose was statistically significant (p=0.003). I do not have percentage breakdowns. – Bill Boni
Was it superiour to treat negative symptoms…
Which negatives symptoms are you dealing with
I am dealing with avolition flat effect algoia anhedoina including all negative symotoms…
