I have a libido it’s just not directed at anybody. (Ie I’ve never been sexually attracted to anyone before) I fantasize normally but have no desire to carry out anything I fantasize about in real life as I am so grossed out by the actual thing.

I have found masturbation to be an effective, natural way to help relieve anxiety. In fact, the sole reason I subscribe to an Internet porn website is scientific research on its anxiolytic effectiveness.

I would use masturbation as an adjunct to medication, exercise, meditation, etc., for sole use for extreme anxiety will lead to excessive masturbation which may result in bodily harm and interfere with activities of daily living.

No I won’t because I have so much anxiety around the issue that I completely avoid and/or shun guys in reality. I’m never going to have a relationship at this point and it’s just depressing.

How can you masturbate with the voices? I don’t hear them on meds, but when I did the whole process would traumatized me.

I just stop for a sec and say ā€œok thanks for sharingā€ or ā€œno that’s unreasonableā€ or one of the other lines my therapist gave me, and get back to it. I’m used to doing that throughout the day no matter what I’m doing, so it isn’t that odd anymore. It used to be really traumatizing, like you said. But now i just use some coping skills and I’m good.
