Could emotional stress in children be triggger for sz?

I don’t have history of MI in my family or cousins..

But I was suppressing a lot of bad stuff as child…

Yes it could I was an emotional wreck and still am. I think personally for me it didn’t is. It feels impossible and permanent and forever. But I wrestle with it daily trying to pin it and get it out of my life but it never does.

I believe so. I believe that’s what caused my schizophrenia.

How do your symptoms manifest?

Emotional stress, maybe not…. but “Adverse Childhood Experiences”, yes I very much think so.

Yes. There is evidence to suggest persistently anxious children are more likely to develop SZ.
