Oh how I love a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage and then bread crumbs and then deep fried.
There is a lot of deep fried food in Scotland… I wonder if the deep frying everything helps?
mrs. sith’s friend had a little dog who had it’s own tartan picnic rug and would then get a scotch egg as his treat…’ bisley ’ the white welsh terrier was one very posh puppy !?!

Couldn’t help but think of Men behaving badly Xmas special where Dorothy ended up with a deep fryer. Just about everything was deep fried in the end including the phone. I couldn’t find a clip without it being the whole episode.
I would like to request Aussie recipes Chef Dark Sith… Laminations, Pavlovas, Egg and bacon pie. Also the elusive traditional New Zealand love cake. . Which is NZ but that’s just semantics these days. Which could also be said on the origins the Pavlova.
@SurprisedJ They sell cooked scotch eggs at my local supermarket in the deli section for a few dollars A nice picnic treat in summer. We tend to bake them here though as deep frying can be a bit dangerous as the mince is often raw.
@petester they sell Deep fried mars bars in some of our fish and chip shops in Australia. I have an ex who would microwave them on ice cream., She’s British, never tried either myself though.
@SurprisedJ I don’t know if a Scotch egg looks like death or something that I would eat if given 1/4 a chance.
