How many of you would be interested in a post dedicated to teaching people how to cook?
We’d start with basic recipes and directions, discuss tools, and maybe even shopping.

I’m very interested. I’ve been thinking of enrolling in a culinary school once I’m done with the program. I’d be happy to try some recipes with good instructions shared by people here.
I still say try Graham Wafer Crumbs on your chicken breasts. Very yummy!
I think this could be a fun and informative thread for sure.
Yep I am up for that
how awesome…yes…I would very much like that.
Oh yes! Please i would love that i just started cooking so far i learned how to make grilled cheese sandwich , macaroni and cheese and hamburgers i dont have a oven that works very well but i use the stove top and the microwave i also have a toaster oven but its small
You might want to give quesadillas a try. Trust me they are incredibly easy to make and the more you do the better you get at it. You can even add stuff like onion, chicken, heck even bacon.
Thats a good idea!
I worked in restaurants for 5ish years and made all kinds of different food, unfortunately I’m not allowed to divulge their recipes but I wouldn’t mind reading about a few homemade recipes because cooking them would be a breeze for me…
Cool, I’ll work on something soon. My daughter has surgery tomorrow, so I’ll be busy most of the day.
And fyi, this will be beginner oriented, so experienced cooks probably won’t be interested or entertained.
I would like it. I don’t know anything but using the microwave. I never learned to cook.
if you want any easy recipes, I would have some.
I’ll remember that. Thanks.
I have a set curriculum, actually. We’re doing cooking classes at my library. I’m going to use it.
I don’t have any cookware other than a few things that can be used in the microwave. Could you start with pots and pans you need.
Sure!
I will probably make the first post Thursday night or Friday morning.
Can we get a preview of what the dish will be?
I like the idea of beginner oriented cooking.
Yep. Plain ol’ pancakes and sausage . Not from a mix!
Super easy to start and very basic.
Sounds awesome. Now I’m not a cooking expert but I do okay with grilling, stir fry, and a little bit of baking but for the life of me, I cannot make a proper pancake.
Looking forward to giving it another try.
It can be difficult. But I promise the recipe i use is easy and cooks up fluffy.
I’ll be following this thread. Need motivation. My kitchen is back to unusable state.
