Well the long ordeal of vying for governmental positions is coming to a close once again and I am left only wishing there were another way.
A slight majority is alright, bad policies can still get bipartisan opposition. A 2/3rds majority is dangerous, regardless of which party it is.
Last thing you want to see is an efficient government.

When Quakers have an issue, it is not resolved until the vote is unanimous.
Governments trend towards tyranny over time, it’s a pattern that has been repeated throughout history. Efficient, single-party governments trend faster towards it. Governments with multiple parties holding the balance tend to last longer.
Well, we ( Michigan ) just voted in a Democrat for governor if that helps any.
