Anyone have information on how their neutrophil numbers were reduced by clozapine? What would be considered OK reduction?
Son was doing very well with clozapine 200mg , but twice the dose was lowered to 175 when the ABN went from 3.0 to about 2.6 over several weeks. Not sure if Dr. is being too careful with Clozapine?
( current medications are clozapine 175 and zyprexa 10mg, results are only fair)
We know clozapine is a dangerous drug, but the blood test numbers were always within the dispensing guidelines- The dr. did not want the ABN number to be below 2.6 which is higher than the guidelines.
