The side effects are just too much. I want to make it clear that I don’t want to stop all APs - will keep the depot. In fact will ask for the depot to be increased.
But the other meds are just too much. Have already stopped omacor, procyclidine and busparone. Next going to stop my gabapentin then the quetiapine.
I have no quality of life at the moment. My nurse was supposed to talk to my doc two weeks ago. Haven’t heard from either of them - go figure.
Wow. Those are some sorry docs and nurses. I had to stop taking seroquel because of my heart. Ability they prescribed me but I never took it. Prozac didn’t help so I quit that and zyprexa made me like a zombie so I quit taking that. About to stop taking latuda but it’s the only med I take. At that time I changed psychiatrists because they wanted to charge me for a medical visit when it was a psychiatric visit and it was suppose to be for free. My new psychiatrist gave me risperdone but noting came out of that so I quit taking it.
Best of luck to you @Jimbob. Is the busparone any good?
Good luck J, some decision. I would advise waiting for your pdoc’s appointment, quitting meds on your own is dangerous. But good luck anyway.

Hey @Minnii. Have got an appointment with the gp tomorrow to discuss coming off the gabapentin. Have already discussed coming off the procyclidine and busparone with the pdoc.
Won’t change the quetiapine until I have spoken with my consultant. Even if I did I wouldn’t change it at the same time as the gabapentin. One thing at a time.
Thanks for being a grounding voice @Minnii. I was feeling a bit upset when I first posted. You are the best

No problem
Glad you’re doing things right. Must suck to be on so many meds, I totally get that, but at the same time there must be a reason to be on so many meds. But yeah, overmedication is a problem and needs to be dealt with. Just happy you’re talking to your pdoc about it.
Btw, took my injection today in the morning, still hurts, this nurse talked a lot and I got out of there dizzy with so many words put together

My injection was painless pretty much. Got stung by a wasp earlier - that was worse
. how often do you get your depot now? I seem to recall they changed it from 4 to 5 weekly.

Wasps suuuck!!
My pdoc changed it to every 4 weeks again, and lowered the dosage to 75mg. I’m great actually, it’s working wonders
