Hi guys, havent been on this site for a few years, i am on 525 mg of clozarill for the past 9 years, lately i have been really tired like sleeping 14 hours a day, any advice on overcoming this issue? Thanks in advance, sean

I don’t really know how to fix this as my meds make me oversleep. I end up going to bed in the late afternoon so I can be up for work.

Welcome back!!! Could you be suffering from depression? Maybe you need an antidepressant? I told my dr just 2 days ago that I’m tired all the time and she thinks it’s depression. Or, are you stressed out or getting more exercise? Maybe you’re just wiped out.
Thank you pianogal i think it might be depression alright, i am on an andtidepressent, but i am still very down, sometimes this illness is so hard to cope with!
I totally understand. Maybe you can ask for an increase on your antidepressant.
I’m on only 50 mg of Clozaril and I sleep around 12 hours a night and soemtimes take a 2 hour nap later in the day. I’ve been on it for 20 years and there is nothing I can do about the sleep.
