I’m Currently I’m hosptail where i’m Having my meds stabilised, however i’m on olanzapine at the moment the dose can’t be Hired so i’m stuck with staying on the dose I am on but they where thinking on adding Aripiprazole or changing to Clozapine. Can I ask what your thoughts are with these meds ?

Clozapine is meant to be the last resort antipsychotics after having tried at least two or three others with no success. I’d go to aripiprazole

I do clozapine and aripiprazole, it’s not that bad. When I was on risperidone and clozapine I had less positives, but I was sleeping half the day. Now I have slightly more positives, but I sleep less and I’m more functional

Clozapine is worth the commitment.

For me clozapine is a lifesaver. It takes awhile to take effect but I’m glad I stuck it out.

Clozapine is really the only antipsychotic medication that helps with my psychosis, mania, and it cures my insomnia…so that’s a plus…depression not so much…
