Anyone else get freaked out by the cinema, i am in the cinema and i was watching a film but it became disturbing so i had to leave early, i was with my friend. I am waiting for her in the lounge area.
I sent her a message & then went back to my seat to tell her, i then went back to her at thecend of the film, i apologised and she was ok with it, i told her i has issues in cinemas, important thingvis i tried my best & we had a really good day. This might actually turn into something 
2nd date and its going well.
I’m ok at small cinema but large cinema I get anxious
I get really anxious in theatre. I cannot sit high up

I’m taking a friend to see the new Beetlejuice movie but, cuz i don’t like crowded cinemas, we’re waiting until a weekday matinee so there won’t be very many others there. I can cope with it, i just don’t like it.

My first huge panic attack happened when I was watching the movie Orca in the theater
It was extremely frightening!
I thought I was suffering a heart attack!

@WhiteRaven i wish i had watched beetlejuice, it was on at the same time and i didnt like the film we watched called ‘AFRAID’ the cinema wasnt busy either but its the big screen, loud noices and darkness that doesnt help esp when something disturbing comes on.
@Wave i new i had to leave , i had to keep an eye out for warning signs, i can feel it when my mood changes and i get anxious, my breathing goes weird and everything about the situation tells me to leave that environment.

I have problems with cinema too! I sometimes worry I’ll have an episode when at the cinema. I avoid it all the time now

I went to see Alien Romulus alone at like 2 on Wednesday. There were 3 other people in the theater with me. Best experience I’ve had at the movies in awhile. Typically I go with friends at normal movie times and I just white knuckle it through the paranoia I get from being around that many people.

If I go to the cinema, I’m only watching action or comedic movies.
Why watch horror if U know it’s triggering ?

Good luck with the date @daydreamer - hope she is understanding. I can’t do theatres, either. It’s why I have put so much effort into a good home theatre as I don’t have to share it with the hoi polloi.
