I’ve been on paxil and Abilify and my anxiety has been out of control and ive been suicidal. I’m looking for some hope from bothers that med changes ( what I need and want ) can make me feel better. Cause everyndaynis a struggle right now

On the 27th yeah I do. I need a change , I don’t feel good these days.

I have felt better after a change of meds. It’s totally worth it to try new meds.

Abilify made me extremely anxious and paranoid as well.

I have a med change success story. I spent four years on Haldol 30 mg but I remained unstable, extremely paranoid, and disabled. Almost three months ago, my pdoc decided it was time to try something new, so we settled on Zyprexa. I did well on it back in 1996-97 so it seemed an obvious choice.

It’s been my miracle drug. I am no longer unstable and paranoid, and I am looking for a full-time job to get off disability. I am going to start volunteering as a transition if I get my own car this weekend. My pdoc wants to find the lowest effective dose, so I have been at 7.5 mg for a little while and I’m still doing very well. Looks like 7.5 mg is my dose. We both expected 15-20 mg because I was on such a high dose of Haldol, but we’re pleasantly surprised.
