It’s sad. The only help I have are my nurse practitioner (GP), my church who has brought to my door free food from the pantry, and the US government who is supplying free Paxlovid, the new Covid antiviral med. Everyone at my psych clinic disappeared along with a couple of my supposed friends.

You can generally expect people to avoid you in person while you’re infected. Or do you mean online?

Oh I’m talking in person. Nobody would go and get me food so I asked if someone from the church would help. I don’t have any family and only two friends who have cars.

I’m sorry your friends didn’t help you. Is there a chance they were too afraid to be near you? A lot of people are super afraid of getting it because it can be so awful. I know I was sick for 2 months. Maybe if you tell them they can leave it outside your doors and you can send them the money through a cash app or something.

Thanks @LilyoftheValley. I don’t have much cash left. I would have to use a credit card which I don’t want to do if I can help it. The woman brought me enough food to last ten days the management of my apartment building wants me to stay in my apartment.

No thanks. I plan to remain Covid free for as long as humanly possible. I have avoided thus far.
