Catch 22. Need help

I don’t want to work in a job but feel bad that I don’t work. It’s a loop.

IDK. Maybe try to find a job that you enjoy? I know that that is easier said than done…

At this point I really don’t know whether I will be able to hold on to the job or not.

I am a serial quitter. I join and quit within a week anywhere I go.

Start out with some part-time volunteer work. VERY part-time. If it goes okay ramp up some more. If you’re able to work your way up to full-time volunteering that’s how you know. In the meantime you’re giving back AND you’re getting valuable references for a resume. Employers like to see volunteering.

My main problem is fear of commitment and my sleep cycle is a mess. Also i am in my comfort zone…
Parents are ok with me not working they provide for me and I am fine with it. So no real desire to work but feel bad that it’s this way.

My biggest step like 15 years ago for me was getting on disability and finding some volunteer work. I can live a good life on disability…not good for dating though so there’s a downside but avoiding the stress of work is so much more beneficial for me…I work. I get stressed. I get stressed I get paranoid. It’s a viscious circle I’m now mostly out of.

Well, if what you want is to do something productive then how about taking a class? Either in person or online. It can occupy your time and you can learn something and it might make you feel better about yourself.

Yeah I like that idea. Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into it.

Cheers.
