Carl sagan's cosmos

whos seen it? To me it is an unrivaled masterpiece of information and rational. Super informative timeless knowledge. I’m watching it again. If I could change my sz it would be to just have this repeat in my head. It makes excellent background noise. Every sentence is so interesting. Enough said.

He was big in the seventies when I was growing up. Just a scientific speaker is all he ever was to me.

lol!

I love the Roman documentaries. If you’re interested in how or why the universe came to be, you might like Why Does the World Exist? by Jim Holt. The author interviews philosophers, lead scientists and religious leaders and asks them about the origins of the universe. Very interesting book that comes to a satisfying conclusion.

Carl Sagan is one of my top 5- Yes, I’ve seen cosmos.

Joseph Campbell being the other one… For me… “The power or Myth” is one I like to revisit.

I read a few of Carl Sagan’s books, but I don’t know why I have trouble getting past the first two episodes of the old Cosmos on Netflix… maybe because I read most of the stuff already. I like the special effects in the newer Neil Degrasse Tyson episodes.

The Universe - beautiful background noise -
