Had me jab - and the discussion turned into me getting a carer from a private nursing company to visit 3x a week - and help with cleaning and take me out to stay social.
Had them briefly before - but i resented forking out my PIP to help cover the cost. And i honestly dont think i need that level of support. I may not always keep a tidy flat or go out for weeks at a time - but i think it would make me more needy and more relient.
Im more than capable of doing my own housework in all honestly - if stuff gets that bad, i know a couple of women that i could bribe todo it anyway.
Maybe later on in life, when im old and knackered ill get them in, and im grateful to know that social services would approve the part funding - But ill pass i think.
What about getting the jab every second week. A professor here told me that for some the monthly is too far apart and its better to get it twice a month. Usually that resolves the issue of going a little bonkers the week before an injection. Side effects wise you feel the same and I know this from experience
The wonders of government healthcare, your always waiting for something. Its free though is the only plus. Im lucky im private so can change my appiontment anytime, I get four sessions a year and can apply for more but four is enough.
