Cant take my laptop apart

so I flip it over unscrew 2 panels…disconnect the battery… unscrew all the screws I can find and I still cant get the bottom off… what am I missing… I need to get to the fan… see if its clogged up or the wires are lose or anything as its not running at the moment and im getting the oh crap im hot error because the dammmmmm fan isn’t running… its sitting on a fan so I can try and look this up but anyone have any tips on where some hidden screws may be… I checked under the rubber bumpers nothing…was thinking possibly under a few of the keys on the keyboard but unsure… need tips…

Take a hammer, hit it really hard, and it’ll open right up.

I don’t think it will lol its really on there… a hammer may shatter and ill find the screws im looking for as the case will still be attached at those spots…but that method cost more money than a fan… lol

There is a store called five below that sells a USB powered fan base for a laptop for only five dollars. It might be easier than taking apart your laptop. Just set the laptop on the base and you’re good.

I mean its just a fan… the floor fan is working so it doesn’t require much just need something to pull out the hot air… lol

so hammer time? the pry end or the thwack end?

There could be screws along the sides or even on the top

meh I put the brightness on low and have a floor fan facing down using it as a table and a cooling system… I guess this is good until my nerd buddy can text me vague then specific directions lol… preciate the ideas and hammer tips lol… already tried the naked bowing and offering of old cell phone parts to the laptop gods…they must have found my gifts wanting…

also lost a screw and whatever button is between insert and delete in the top right corner somehow… what the hell button is that…?

Send your laptop to computer service center. Hassle free. They will do the job for you, of course, you have to pay for service charge.

meh they charge too much around here… its simple hardware malfunction…well it would be if I could get it open… but 100$ + dollars for someone to either replace or secure the connection to my 15$ internal fan… no thank you… I could buy a new laptop for the price they would charge me to fix/replace the fan… I only need it for the internet and some classic gaming… I do all the high powered stuff video editing/new games on my ps4…
