My father sleeps like a baby.
He takes medical marijuana for chronic pain.
Didn’t read most of the article.
They lost credibility when they started talking about “cannabis withdrawal”.
Also,
I get pretty stoned before I go to bed and usually sleep great.
Not a cannabis advocate here but even a low dose of the shitt will knock me out for many hours. That much I will say for the cancer stick.
mj makes me sleep soooooooo good. I just don’t like much else about it. Just that good deep relaxation.
Is the effect enhanced or hampered by the consumption of moderate amounts of wine?
I have chronic withdrawal insomnia from Olanzapine and Cannabis products didn’t work at all for me. I tried CBD and it didn’t work at all, not even a little bit. I also tried a CBD/THC mix and a CBN/CBD/THC mix, none of it put me to sleep.
I accept it may work for others, but my insomnia is severe and these products are too mild for me.
I’m so sorry @Headspark . What do you do or take for your insomnia? And does it work?
Yeah, I take 1.5mg of clonazepam (Klonopin) every night about 45 minutes before bed.
I really didn’t want to take a benzo because I am probably dependent on it now, but I tried a bunch of other herbal and pharmaceutical products and nothing worked good enough. So far clonazepam has been working great. However, if my insomnia ever goes away and I am able to sleep without it I am not looking forward to the benzo withdrawal when it times come to quit clonazepam.
Enhanced?
It’s kind of two distinct feelings going on at the same time.
Very pleasurable though.
I take Delta 8 CBD with 25 mg of Indica THC, in gummy form, every night to get me to sleep. I take it about 8 pm and I am out like a light by 11 pm or 12 am. I am a big champion of cannabis.
I get the 50 mg THC gummies and then cut them in half for my 25 mg dose.
I used to suffer from terrible insomnia before CBD.
I take CBD oil to help me sleep. Along with three other sleep supplements. And if all that doesn’t work, I have to take a Xanax.
My sleep problems stretch back to at least toddler age. It’s what used to be called ‘initial insomnia’( is it still called that?)
