My paranoid thoughts/beliefs started back then
I’m sure it’s possible. Just less common.
it’s not common, but childhood onset schizophrenia is a thing
When I was 10 years old, I really wanted to get married. I put on my red velvet Christmas dress and thought someone would show up. So, yes, definitely.
The other thing is…it might not necessarily be schizophrenia.
I haven’t ever been dxd with SZ
I’m only 15
What could it be? You can’t have a one psychotic episode for years and be able to function somewhat
I know it aint sz
We aren’t allowed to try to diagnose you remember? And I’m not saying it isn’t schizophrenia either. I just don’t know for sure. It’s way early for onset.
I didn’t ask for a diagnosis just wondering what it could be?
Thanks for this link
I’ve seen a few pieces on childhood schizophrenia, it’s kind of hard to watch. I remember one instance where a parent said “we’ll leave you alone” and the kid screamed back “I’m never alone!” presumably because of the voices she hears. I didn’t deal with this severity until age 30 and it only lasted two years.
She seems to be doing better later on:
Why this became a thread to talk about childhood SZ? I wasn’t thinking I have it or anything
Because you asked if you could have delusions as a child. I simply answered your question.
Also Jani Schofield has been unmedicated for a long time with no psychosis symptoms, her parents were Munchausen by Proxy cases
@agent101g
I’ve watched the video and it didn’t say anything about them having delusions, just hallucinations
I started having delusions at 9, but wasn’t officially diagnosed until I was 21, so it’s totally possible.
You can have delusions as young as two or three.
It’s not common but yes you can.
I had solipsism in this age,
