I have read that anything above 15mg isn’t adding positive effects.

BUT. Common doses say nothing. In a bad period I need 0.5mg haldol a day. My friend uses 20mg. And doesn’t even have the side effects I have with a minimal dosing. We genuinely cannot tell you. Symptoms vary. Psychosis risks vary. Effects vary, for sensitivity to meds varies. Side effects vary. Med risks vary.

I suggest you feel what happens in your own body. And discuss it with a doc. And demand to be taken seriously with what you feel.

I’m sensitive to any slight increase in this abilify. I have some brain damage. It worries me

No. You can look up the references range online pretty easily. You can also get genetic testing if that is within your means. Doing so can justify to your doctor the need for a reduced dosage

15mg used to be the sweet spot until I stupidly went off my meds.

Now 20mg is where it’s at.

Your mileage may vary though.

I take the max amount, 30 mg daily. I have taken abilify since maybe 2009 when a hospital dr prescribed it to me.
