We can see IP addresses. This helps us identify bots, duplicate accounts and suspicious behavior. Whenever you connect to a website, that website gets your IP address, so your IP address is not particularly private anyway. Anyone can locate an IP address, but the location will be very inaccurate. IP locators typically only tell us which city you live in, and sometimes even get that part completely wrong.
