can person with scz sleep with olanzepine only ?
i feel it is not very sedative
along my years (14 years) with scz i dont feel it very sedative
anyone see something else ?

It’s highly individual, but olanzapine is known as a sedating drug.
But if you don’t sleep well you should tell that to your doctor so maybe they can help you.
You could look into supplements like magnesium and melatonin to help you sleep.
Currently I’m taking 5mg olanzapine, 300mg gabapentin, magnesium and melatonin for sleep. Usually I sleep ok.

Yes, caffeine can disrupt sleep. Try to not drink caffeine after 12 in the noon.

I was sleeping 11-12 hours a day on Lybalvi (15 mg olanzapine + 10 mg samidorphan). I didn’t like sleeping that much. Since i quit it i sleep about 6 hours a night but I’m still tired cuz it’s poor sleep. I suggest that you try to cut the caffeine out at least 6 hours before bed, but i don’t know if that’ll help or not.
