Alienation from everyone. I fear the cameras and those watching me. I panic. I took two benzos at noon, didn’t help
I used to have this delusion as well its not real dont worry.
Ok, so here’s the problem you have, yes the cameras are watching, but no one is watching these cameras for the most part, until a crime is reported or they go back in their records and look for employee theft or vandalism that occurred around some time.
Its normal to feel like you’re in an odd situation, because you are.
Schizophrenia isn’t “normal”, and people are going to treat you differently, you might have to really work hard to get rid of this delusion’s teeth, but basically don’t act on it, don’t give in to it.
This is just a nagging doubt about the reality of your situation that is now being warped into this sort of pestering belief. Its a bummer but please just keep working on it.
If anything just try breathing exercises and trying to stop thinking about it. Breathe in and just think about the movement of air in and out, and think the thoughts “in” and “out” repetitively and it will help calm you down, if you breath at a relaxed pace.

What I have learned to do with this delusion of persecution/delusion of invasion of privacy is this:
If I am a criminal doing things I should not be doing as they are against the law, then surveillance is a means to rid the person of doing the illegal activity.
If I am innocent and doing nothing wrong, having nothing to hide, then I will be just fine and have nothing to worry about even if there is surveillance going on.
