I have been riding my bicycle a lot. I met today one 92-year old man and chatted with him for some time. If I live to 92, this would mean 40 years more. I have not read any postings, but I hope everybody is doing well. During my break I have thought how far I am from the world’s main centers, I have been here since 2002, 17 years, after I returned back to my home town from America. Many things in America were good too. Here is a pic of myself.
I wish I could go biking. I am 40 now but have zero income since I am not allowed to work. I really enjoyed riding my bike since it was relief from the monotony. Asked my father if I could get a bike and he just said it was a bad idea. I’m not gonna beg.
Welcome back, always good to see you. You didn’t miss much. Most of us are all still here, well the good ones anyway lol
Cycling is great exercising, keeps my mind away from thoughts causing depression, I also see other people, I take the great number of pics which is good, when I moved from Michigan to Atlanta in 1990 my first vehicle was a bicycle, I know it is different in the U.S. because there are not so good bicycle paths, we here have good bicycle paths. Maybe you can buy a used bicycle, those cost here 50 euros or something like that.
money was not the problem in my case. My family just thinks it would be a bad idea for me to cycle alone.
Do you have good bicycle paths where you live?
there are a few nature trails but I since I’m a foodie more, I would probably use the opportunity to scope out some nice snack bars.
It’s good to see you back on the forum @mjseu
