Well i hope a solution is in californias future. Whether this will work or hopefully something soon. The problems in the usa or california or both or certain cities well there are many factors as to why we should all have heart and hope for this situation yet this is all very complicated and all appropriate steps need to be taken and hopefully will be at some point.
Its up to the law makers and politicians to help make it easier to get off the streets yet i do believe its up to each person or family to also do the work to help themselves in some way
I don’t want to be forced medication,
Even if I were homeless.
Its very complicated and problems in all areas of society and government trickle down in a sense that creates this mess. I dont see homelessness getting solved although i have heart and hope for the situation and everyone who lives this way. Its very sad and i would help if i could but i dont have resources to do that right now
No one will be forced, medication. Just don’t accept help.
If people don’t want a solution - don’t complain about homeless people ruining your neighborhood.
This is a good step and about time - allocating 14 billion on the homeless.
Feel like some california homeowners want us to arrest them all or something complaining constantly. First this is in humane, Second its against the law, we have homeless laws protecting them.
@matthewj
You are really compassionate about the issue. It’s nice to see the serious side of you.
Obviously you witness homelessness in SF
I see the same issues in Southern California.
Hopeful this helps the situation for most. Both the homeless and the issues homelessness causes normal people and businesses.
Yes and my compassion is not becuase of dirty streets although im not a fan of dirty streets but these people live very sad and difficult and scary lives and its very heartbreaking. Its a very difficult solution becuase mental illness inflation high housing costs healthcare and a discussion about whether to force people to get help or not plus drugs which alot of pain meds and such are legal too plus do you arrest drug dealers legalize drugs what do you do is q safe injection site enabling drug addicts or is it a solution. Theres so many pieces to the puzzle and it fit all the peieces there needs to be solutions and a common ground among people and law makers and politicians and everything which i honestly think will never happen unfortunately so i have heart and hope yet maybe it will resolve
I personally noticed homelessness increasing around 2007 and getting worse each year. Before that there were homeless and such but it started getting bad 07 well imo
Respect.
