Hello, I’m on 350mg of Clozapine and whenever I drink coffee I feel energized for 45 mins to an hour and then, when the effect wears off, I feel sleepy. If I don’t drink coffee I have more energy. It’s supposed to be the other way around though. I read that Caffeine can increase the Clozapine dosage in the blood, hence making me sleepy.
I think caffeine and tobacco (but not vaping) interact with Clozapine. But I can remember if they increase or decrease it’s effectiveness.
