British or American

Well the books are so I’d say it’s half and half.

Now that you mention it, J.R.R. Tolkien did write that masterpiece.

Canadian shows used to really suck. But in the last 10 years they’ve come up with some pretty good stuff. “Alias Grace” miniseries of a book from Margaret Atwood is amazing

Peaky Blinders is one of the only British shows I like. Is Game of Thrones British? If so then I like two.

I love a lot of British movies though. The Harry Potter series and the James Bond films are great.

I watch American shows, especially crime based dramas, much more. That’s my personal choice , and not a verdict on the relative quality of American and British shows.

Too hard @anon9798425 . Back in the day I preferred English humor. It was different from America but these days the Americans have much more interesting and edgy stuff! We get a lot of english stuff but also lots of American stuff being users of both markets.

So. Unfair question. They are different but good in their own way!

@FatMama Have you watched The Doctor Blake Mysteries? That’s another good Australian show that reminds me a bit of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.

From U.S.A, I like British humor best. I don’t like American humour, no offense. I especially like old comedy shows like keeping up appearances and are you being served. Oh I do like an Indian/Canadian comedian, named Russell Peters, he’s hilarious. :joy::rofl:

Oh that wasn’t the question. I still prefer British shows.

I’m not either American nor British, but I liked IT Crowd and The Bigbang Theory. If I evaluate humor based on them, I would choose the former. I watched it more than 10 times. but I didn’t watch many shows so I don’t know

I watch it on my local PBS channel. Same with Miss Fishers.

I like Simolian sitcoms, those guys crack me up.

I am exposed to many more American shows and movies than British shows, but I’ve enjoyed British TV shows in the past.

I like both equally, but I watch American TV programmes the most.
