What’s the difference !? I find British humour more sarcastic ….
I agree, British humor has always seemed quite dry to me, in a good way.
I dig both
Black Adder series with Rowan Atkinson…
Monty Pyton Meaning of life…
It means good humor
So British.
its a bit of a mix, i love a good belly laugh though, laughing until its physically sore and i can hardly breathe lol
i gots the monty python flying circus collection under my television.
also whats the one with the older married couple with the son you never get to meet?
keeping up appearances. loved it for its homeyness.
the comedians are better live imo some of the comedy shows are not as good as live comedians imo.
I’m more partial to Brit humour so long as they don’t try and put it in a television show.
“It’s pronounced BOO—KAY.”
Remember The Young Ones? Funny
yes the young ones were great!
“Don’t look at me i’m irrelevant!”
believe it’s a close up of an old boot. laughs.
I haven’t watched tons of British comedies. I always thought Mr. Bean wasn’t too bad though.
I’m not a huge fan of comedies anymore of either persuasion, though. It takes a lot for a movie/series to make me laugh anymore. I get more of a kick out of some comments on the forum(sometimes even my own), than I would from watching a comedy.
I love British comedy. I don’t know if it’s better, but I like the British sense of humor. It’s much drier and more spicy than American comedy.
I wrote to Patricia Routlege she sent me a signed photo
Ya’ll need to add to your diet Australian Humour. It’s pretty much a mix between American and British as we’ve roots in both but has this self depreciating quality that is oh so good.
We’ve always had the both so I’m more inclined to older british humour and later American. I think Britain has fallen away somewhat in the last couple of decades but Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, the Young Ones and even that earlier stuff like the goodies was gold.
America caught up later with some amazing things like Parks and Recreation and more modern ones…but still. Look up Aussie humour. I think you can see The D Generation on youtube overseas…crazy Aussie goodness.
Big fan of Kath & Kim
“Kimmy, look at me, look at me Kim, Kimmy look at mooooei”
Hey Magda was in D generation if you can pick up that series on your youtube…I’m not sure whether she was CAth or Kim but she’s a good egg. I never watched that show but know both the actress’ involved!
Yes she played Sharon Stresleki— claaasic character!
Will defos check it out on the YouTube!
