The names bond, trauma bond
That’s pretty damn dark…
Sounds like an Ex or two of mine.
Chiming in here vicariously….
I have heard that sz/sza can stem from trauma, according to my peer support specialist.
That theory makes a lot of sense to me, and I think it can explain a lot of psychological problems, such as very low self esteem and depression. I don’t think I was ever abused, but I have had strong bonds. I am glad my bonds were not too traumatic. At least I don’t think so.
I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, that i’ve been laughing for the past three minutes over this and only just now composed myself enough to be able to reply.
That’s the best thing I’ve heard in a long time, glad to bring some laughs.
Thanks for the post, I’ve bookmarked it to read again later. I feel that I am in a bit of a power Dynamic with one of the voices in my head. They are a dominant alpha male, and I often feel put upon.
@anon19982023 I have read the same thing. The potential for Schizophrenia can lay dormant, and be triggered by trauma. This is the case with myself actually, following a car accident and a head injury
Definitely was me with my most recent ex.
Bond. 77nick77 Bond with a license to bruise.
