I received Android 11 for Xiaomi Redmi 9 this morning. I did check for updates and it was there.

Did you update it ? I’ve just checked and there’s an update for mine too. I might leave it till next week. I’m not in the mood for learning android 11 right now

Looks like mine is just a security update, not Android 11. Phew!

I spoke too soon. It’s Android 11. And I’ve started downloading it. Ah well …

Its not much different if you already have MIUI 12 but I think Android 11 has optimizations like using less battery, faster, more secure, etc

MIUI 12.5 will be different from 12.0 I think. Now I have 12.0.1, somehow before I had 12.0.3 but it was Android 10 now it says Android 11. Oh the animations are different, maybe notifications too.
