Blood Pressure Reading

So my Nurse took my blood pressure after my last injection.

I clocked in at 100 beats per minute. I understand 60-100 is average/ normal. But I am on the high end of the spectrum. I think I’ll mention this to my family doctor, and see if he wants me on a med to lower the pressure.

My resting heart rate used to be over 100. I wasn’t given meds for it specifically. I got on BP medicine because my BP was around 170/120. It was really bad. I ended up on multiple meds for multiple issues related to my weight. Once I lost the weight I got off all the meds.

I’m not saying you need to lose weight. I’m just saying what happened to me

I’m around 5’9…173lbs.

I’m not in very good cardio shape, though.

I bet adding some cardio a few times a week would help. I hope your dr visit goes well and they tell you what can be done about it

I’m on my feet at work for 4 hrs per evening…moving around. I also play tennis a few times per week.

No where near what I used to be physically. I’m still in pretty good over all health for 56, I guess.

Ok. So you’ve done everything you can and it’s still high. Ugh. I think making an appointment with your primary doctor is a good idea
