I have a real bad infection on my big toe. I tried everything I could think of to get it out of there. It really hurts and it had me worried. It wasn’t looking too good. Even my ex said it looked pretty bad. I finally decided to go to the Dr today. My Dr wasn’t available so I saw someone new. He was pretty good I thought. He asked a lot of questions and told me a lot of advice and doesn’t want me looking after my nails anymore. He referred me to the pediatrist. And put me on some antibiotics to get rid of this infection. I’m looking forward to it stopping hurting in a few days hopefully, this has been hurting for over a week now.

Be careful. I just read a story in the news about a woman who got an infection in her big toe from a cut she got during a pedicure. She had to have it amputated, and the infection still spread and she ended up with toxic shock syndrome from it. Her kidneys failed and now she’s on the list for a new kidney. Take your antibiotics faithfully and don’t miss any doses

omg, how terrible. I’m so glad I went to the Dr. You should see it. It looks awful. I don’t want to get it amputated.

Yeah. Just keep taking the antibiotics. If your toe turns black get in to see a dr immediately
