yes, the dead tall pine tree finally fell and took out our line to our house…it happened noon on saturday and the electrician couldn’t get parts until monday so we just now got the power back…what a relief…luckily at night it would storm and cool off a cross breeze through the house. it was still miserable…we forget I think just how important electricity is !! I certainly appreciate it a whole lot more… haha

Three days would be bad. I hope your food in Your fridge didnt go bad. Good to hear things are back to normal.

My power goes out for days at a time at least once per season. It’s so frustrating when the food goes bad and you have to throw it out.

Damn. That is a long time to wait to fix a cable down. Glad you’ve the power back no matey! As Joni once said…you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone!

thanks everyone…we kept a fresh bag of ice unbroken in the freezer and that’s where we kept the dog’s insulin…saved the milk and an unopened bottle of mayonaisse…eggs, creamer, milk and butter all have to be thrown out.
