Baseball is replacing basketball as my favorite sport

i dont know i still love basketball but im getting bored with it lately, the game is too easy, shoot, score, shoot, score. baseball is more difficult and requires more thinking and attention span. i also like the dead time in the game in between pitches. baseball was my first love as a boy, but then i discovered basketball and never looked back until now.

if i played baseball i would want to be a relief pitcher, but im not tall enough for that, could play 2nd base though. my high school basketball coach was a minor league baseball player, he tried to get me to play but i didn’t want to. they went to semi state my senior year, they rode the arm of their ace who was going to play college ball before he got a brain injury from playing football his senior year. he struck out everybody his junior year, and had great control of the strike zone. he was one year younger than me, i visited him in the hospital when he got hurt. sad story.

last time i went to a baseball game, i couldn’t see the ball when it was hit in the air haha. that was a couple years ago, before covid, in louisville. a minor league game.

I’ve been to several Twins games during the Kirby Pucket era. It was funny sitting up in the nosebleed section while wearing a baseball glove. Like I was gonna catch anything.

I also enjoy baseball.

I’m a soccer fan. I do enjoy baseball, though. I actually went to school with Barry Bonds’ son and daughter.

I like listening to baseball on the radio. :radio:

My city has a team in a partner MLB league. I guess it’s kind of like the minor league?

Anyway, the stadium is a mile from my house and I like to go sometimes in the summer. The only thing is the team isn’t very good.

I like basketball too, but my brother is a bigger fan.
