About three days ago there’s been a really weird bad smell emanating in our bathroom. I think it’s something to do with the rats in our house. The pest control laid poison last week. I suspect there might be a dead rat underneath the panel of the toilet, or its urine. I’m not sure but its a weird smell

Probably nothing you can do. I agree it’s probably a dead rat. Just buy an air freshener and stick it in the toilet for a while.

They’re due to come back on the 7th but the smell started 3 days ago, so I’ll be calling them tomorrow to see if they can check it out.
I’m not brave enough to look, I’m kind of paranoid that there’s a whole swarm of them down there. Or if the nest is there.
There’s a handyman that my Mum phoned today that is good to us, he says he’ll be here in two days ish.

i think if it was me, I’d cover my nose and put gloves on, maybe get a torch. but thats just me, i know it can be a very messy business.

Council pest control isn’t open til the 2nd. I’ve called a private business and they’ll call me back today hopefully
