I decided not to be afraid anymore…we probably won’t speak and that’s just fine with me…I get to serve the whole family jambalaya so I won’t have to socialize that much around my brother. love cooking by the way…it’s going to be a blast…and no @Ninjastar I am not going to be drinking.

The jambalaya sounds delicious. How long does it take to make jambalaya?

well first you have to make vegetable stock with a stalk of celery and a chopped up onion in simmering water…that’s for thirty minutes before you start cooking…depends on how long it takes you to chop up everything. chicken, kielbasa, ham, celery, onion and bell pepper all have to be small bites chopped. once that’s done it’s easy…mixing it all in a big kettle and then pouring the mixture over raw rice and baking in a roasting pan for an hour…so two hours I guess…?

i love jambalaya, havent been able to make it in a while i started buying canned jambalaya soup lol its pretty good but not as good as homemade
