English has a lot of awkward words. flameoftherhine always complains about it.
for instance, “rapier” sounds way too similar to another word. what were they thinking when they made that word… : /
and what the freak is up with “honeysuckle.” it has the words “honey” and “suck” in it…
and how about “sherbet?” I spell that word wrong, every time. I don’t even feel safe pronouncing it. is it even a real English word?
and some words don’t have a gender equivalence. surely snowman is a word, but what about snowwoman?
