Chances are you don’t have avpd because sz will do that to you.
@shellys12 i think my situation worse than that because i always looking people behavior. And if people negative behavior change after i came place i suspect that i cause this and it s hurting.
I feel like that, but I think it’s just my very low self esteem.
@anon68444330
Have you thought of therapy
No.i never think about it
I have felt like that at times myself, but i wouldn’t call it Avoidant Personality Disorder. I think if you had this disorder you would more or less be a hermit. Living away from everyone and doing everything in your power to have nothing to do with other people. Feeling as though people don’t want you near them to me says you have low self-esteem. Or perhaps you are a little paranoid. Either way, i think you should bring up your feelings at your next scheduled appointment with your doctor and see what they have to say. I’m not a doctor after all.
That’s not avoidant PD though. Or rather it doesn’t have to be. Someone with avoidant PD might want friends very much.
Here’s the criteria:
characterized by the presence of at least four of the following:[1]
persistent and pervasive feelings of tension and apprehension;
belief that one is socially inept, personally unappealing, or inferior to others;
excessive preoccupation with being criticized or rejected in social situations;
unwillingness to become involved with people unless certain of being liked;
restrictions in lifestyle because of need to have physical security;
avoidance of social or occupational activities that involve significant interpersonal contact because of fear of criticism, disapproval, or rejection.
Associated features may include hypersensitivity to rejection and criticism.
I am a bit like this too and it can be a paranoia also.
