Interesting ! I can’t read due to concentration issues but can listen to audiobooks.

For me with an audiobook an issue would be retaining the story line in my mind .

I read normal books but kinda have quite a lot of ‘micro’ breaks - where I phase out for like 5 seconds then go back to reading.

I worry that this style of reading might not be compatible with audio books

I do both.

Scientific, psychology and medical books require reading and the fictional stuff I like to listen to. While i can stop reading and think about the words, it is harder to do with an audio book. I know you can press pause but the stopping and starting ruins a story.
