So she totally rejected the idea of giving me gabapentin lol. But she referred me to an x ray to begin with

It might take multiple drs to get answers. Thats what happened to me with my bladder. I kept getting referred to different drs until 2 years ago when I got sent to U of M for treatment and answers. It took 6 years before I ended up at u of m. So try to be patient.

I hope I don’t need gabapentin. I had shingles and the worst is over but my side is still sensitive and hurts. It’s been two weeks. The doctor said there can be nerve damage that causes pain but it’s rare and they have meds for it. I don’t want to depend on another med though. Who knows maybe I’ll heal completely.

Have you got an appt with a urologist? Sometimes they can help.

What does gabapentin feel like? Does it affect your behavior?

Not at all. It just makes me have less pain.

I’m on a high dose. If you have actual nerve damage, I think it’s better to be on it. I have a neurological disorder that causes severe nerve damage over time.

But pls discuss with your doctor! :heart::people_hugging:
