@Daisy79 been to London many a times…London is a great city, a city that everyone should visit. Im lucky, being irish that I can work there with no hassle of visas or any other stuff. During my depressed days I used to go over a lot, worked in Camden town, also I liked Greenwich a lot where I stayed, and the West London suburbs of Holland Park, and Kensington are just great for a stroll and a beer in a bar.
You have to love nature and being on your own to be where I’m at. No towns, and no people. Lots of elk, moose, deer, bears and trees. Right now a lot of snow! It keeps people from watching me though! They have a rough time getting here! Montana is great!
@comaose…was meant to visit Sweden a few years ago but meatal health problems prevented me from doing it. Hoping to go sometime…would like to see Stockholm…your country would make me think of Canada…another country I like.
Sweden, to the irish eye is all about Abba and good looking women (blondes) and a decent national soccer team.
And a good Hockey team!
I’m from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
@cbbrown …sounds like a nice place to visit…the name Indiana has the impression of being cool, that’s how it would be perceived in Ireland. Indiana and Indianapolis sound cool and edgy. That’s its image for a foreigner from Ireland anyway.
@karl i want to visit Ireland someday, both sides of my family come from there.
@cbbrown…well a Happy Saint Patricks Day to ya then…it may be 9 days early though…do you mark the day at all…I hear Chicago, New York and Boston hold big parades…we see them on the irish news on St Patricks Day…by the way, I recently came across that you americans call it Patty’s Day…huh…we only call it Paddys Day in Ireland.
Ontario, Canada. Lived in the province all my life, moved around a bit though.
A small town pretty close to NYC
Wow @karl, even I haven’t seen that much of London as you have…
I live in Wembley though, you know, where the famous wembley stadium is, I can see it from here…
I live in the Philadelphia suburbs in Pennsylvania, US. In the past, I have lived in Los Angeles, Detroit suburbs, and Tennessee. Philadelphia is okay, except for the cold, snowy winters. I think Los Angeles is the best place to live, at least weather-wise.
I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but now live in Cape May, New Jersey. I like New Jersey and live down the street from the bay. It’s nice here in the winter because all of the tourists are gone. The summers get crazy here but our neighborhood stays pretty calm. @karl That’s so cool you live in Ireland, I’ve always wanted to visit there.
South Bay Area, California. I’m a native Californian. I lived in L.A. from first to third grade but moved up here and have lived here ever since.
I am from Oklahoma…raised in Norman, (Oklahoma University town) and am not very proud to be from a state so full of Baptists and Republicans…I am a Democrat, and it’s tough living in so much religious people…I am spiritual and I believe it is a personal thing…
I’m from ft. Myers Florida. We have a lot of nice beaches and nice weather.
@SunGirl…no better time to visit than Saint Patrick’s Day. We actually like to call it “Impress a Foreigner Day” as the irish natives like to impress all the tourists by getting extremely pissed. Its true!!..drinking typically starts after the parade…
New Jersey is great during the summer…I heard it was New York’s garden playground.
When youre from New Jersey, youre basically a New Yorker…true??!
